Do your products contain THC?
No. A patented technology is used to remove any residual THC found in our organic PCR-Rich Hemp extract. All Basic Plus products show no detectable THC on their lab reports. ​

What is Hemp?
"Hemp" is a term used to classify varieties of cannabis that contain 0.3% or less THC content (by dry weight).
What is the difference between CBD & Hemp Seed Oil?
CBD is short for cannabidiol. It is one of many different molecules known as cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. CBD has many beneficial properties and is commonly used to promote general wellness. Hemp seed oil is produced by pressing the cannabis plant’s seeds. Hemp seed oil is similar to other seed oils such as sunflower oil and corn oil. Hemp seed oil has its own benefits, but it does not contain CBD.
What is the ideal serving size of CBD?
An individual’s ideal serving size of CBD depends on a wide range of variables. It also depends on the product. Servings of 10 to 50 milligrams per day are commonly reported for health maintenance and specific concerns.
Skin Care Products
Are your skin care products Cruelty-Free?
We do NOT test our products on animals, and we do NOT use ingredients tested on animals.
Water is not listed as an ingredient in any of your skin care products, why is that?
Our creams and balm contain no water. It is not necessary and more importantly any product that contains water (including herbal-infused water or aloe vera) NEED a preservative. Although there are naturally occurring preservatives within the chemical structure of our natural ingredients, they are nowhere near as potent as the synthetic preservatives used in commercial products. We do not want to add these synthetic preservatives to our products, therefore we add no water. Vitamin E is added to all our topicals for its healing properties, but it also has the benefit as being a natural preservative.
Do you add fragrances?
No, our creams’ gentle scent is created by the essential oils and butters used in our formulation. We add no fragrances or perfumes.
why are Basic Plus creams not as absorbent as other creams sold in stores?
Is there a use by date on your creams or balms?
Because we use pure unaltered butters and oils with no water added. Most well-known cosmetic lines add water to their products to both water down the products and help with absorption into the skin. But because we don't want to add preservatives, we leave the water out. This results in a more concentrated product, that takes longer to absorb into the skin.

All our products are filled in our on-site clean room and all containers used are cleaned and sanitized prior to filling. Once opened, skin care products become exposed to dirt and microorganisms (bacteria, yeasts, and molds) that are found in the air and on the skin. Since we add no synthetic preservatives or stabilizers, it is best to use our products within 6 months after opening.
Baby Butters
Do you use essential oils in your Baby Products?
Nope! Essential oils can be sensitive to infant skin, so we leave them out of all our Basic Plus Baby products. The light aroma you may smell is the natural scent of the cocoa butter, shea butter, and calendula oil used in our baby products.
If you don't add essential oils in your Baby Butter, how is it that Calendula is listed as an ingredient?
What is bentonite?
We use dried organic Calendula flowers to infuse organic grapeseed oil with this flower’s healing properties.
